Terrie Robertson passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Lynn Wolaver. Terrie is survived by her husband, Dan Robertson of nearly 50 years, children, Brent and Heather Robertson, her mother Rosalie Wolaver, aged 97, sisters Sandy Gibson, Paula Odom and brother Lyle Wolaver and his wife April, nieces, Demita Robertson Martinez and Leslie Behrens, and nephews Michael Gibson, Luke Odom, and Jackson Wolaver.
Terrie taught for 33 years in Marion Unit 2. She taught kindergarten, 6-8 grade language arts and art, and most of her years were spent as a 4th grade teacher at Creal Springs School. She was a lifelong member of the Creal Springs United Methodist church and has been the financial secretary there for many years.
Terrie planned many trips and enjoyed traveling to other countries with her husband, Dan. Reading was one of her favorite activities. She loved working in her flower gardens around her house and spent many hours tending to her flowers, even though the bugs seemed to especially like her flavor. Terrie really lived a life of love for her family and her church. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
There will be graveside services Saturday, April 6,11:30 a m at County Line Cemetery conducted by Steve Utley of the Creal Springs United Methodist Church. Everyone is invited to the services and afterward to the Fellowship Hall of the Creal Springs United Methodist Church to share a meal and celebrate Terrie’s life after the grave side service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Creal Springs Methodist Church. Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home of Creal Springs in charge of arrangements.
