Mary Ellen Dillon, 87, of Galatia, Illinois passed away June 30, 2024. She was born in Galatia, Illinois on September 21, 1936, to the late Virgil and Ethel (Hall) Manker. She married the love of her life, Glenn Dillon, on January 23, 1982, in Las Vegas. She was a member of the Lebanon C.P.C in Galatia, Illinois and owner of the Galatia Clothes Gallery for many years.

Mary Ellen was one of a kind. She loved clothes, shoes, and all things flashy. Mary Ellen had a love for sports cars. She could often be found spending time with her beloved pets while ordering items from the Home Shopping Network. She was also a huge Elvis Presley fan!

Mary Ellen is survived by two sons, Jeff (Vicki) Howton of East Cleveland, Tennessee, Joe (Vickie) Howton of Castaic, California; one daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Young of Eldorado, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Danielle (Brian) Gruhlke of Castaic, California, Jeremy Howton of Castaic, California, Lacey (James) Masoner of Valencia, California, De Borah Kimball of Castaic, California, Amanda (TJ) Varble of Oaktown, Indiana, Leonilda Johnsons of Santa Clarita, California, Amy (Larry) Olson of Shawneetown, Illinois, 12 great-grandchildren, and special friend, Mike Duggins.

She is proceeded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Lebanon Church in Galatia at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m untl funeral hour. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Robert Abbott officiating. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lebanon C.P.C cemetery.
