Ivagene Stephenson 95, of Galatia passed away March 12, 2023, at Saline Care Center in Harrisburg. Ivagene was born on May 17,1927 in Saline County to the late George and Amy (Hall) Bradley. She went on to marry Carl (Red) Stephenson who preceded her in death in 2008.

Ivagene really enjoyed cooking for her family and prior to her husband's passing loved gardening and canning. Ivagene had a very special bond with her nephew, Carl, and loved spending time with him.

Ivagene is survived by a sister, Karen Osterkamp, a very special nephew Carl “Stoney” and his wife Roberta Stephenson, several nieces and nephews including great and great-great.

In addition to her husband and her parents Ivagene was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Oliver and a brother, Ronald Bradley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 am until funeral hour. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Galatia with Brother Ken Perry officiating. Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia is in charge of the arrangements.
