Harold Gene Bradley, Sr., 91 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 10, 2024, in Ellenton, Florida. Harold was born on September 17, 1932 near Raleigh, IL. He was the eighth son of Ernest William and Mallie Mae (Karnes) Bradley.

Harold was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He graduated from Galatia High School in 1950. He served in the US Army in Germany and then returned home to Illinois to work on the family farm. He married Patricia Ann Falk on September 27, 1958 at Mt.Pleasant Social Brethren Church in Raleigh, IL. They spent 65 wonderful years together. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of Olney, IL for twenty-three years, Bible Fellowship Church of Olney, IL for thirty-five years and was a current member of Grace Baptist Church of Madisonville, KY. Harold worked for many years for General Telephone Company (Verizon).

Harold is survived by a son Harold Gene Bradley, Jr. (Ethel) of Madisonville, KY and daughter Rhonda Bloome (Mark) of Ellenton, FL. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Danielle Griffith (Jimmy), Megan Lafferty (Aaron), Matthew Iker, Garrett Iker (Jackie), Brittany Martin (Colby), Charity Rau (Don), Faith Smeltzer (Swayne), Harold Gene Bradley lll (Justine), and Hope Ebel (Joel).

Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 735 Lenin Road, Madisonville, KY on Thursday, January 18 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Chris Gouger officiating. A second service will be held at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, IL on Friday, January 19 at 2:00 pm with Blake Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Raleigh Masonic Cemetery in Raleigh, IL. Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia in charge of arrangements.
