Doris Jean McAdams

Doris Jean McAdams, 74 of Carrier Mills, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 24,2023, at Helia Healthcare in Benton. Doris was born on June 17, 1949, in Granite City, IL to the late Junior Jacobs and Fern (Carpenter) Triplett.

Doris had many things she loved to do and painting was one of them. Doris also enjoyed learning and reading about different cultures. Above all she had a love for her family and for animals.

Doris is survived by an ex-husband, Bill McAdams; 2 sons, Richard Gibbs, Keith Bush; 1 sister, Vicki Pennington; 1 brother, Fred Foster; 1 grandson, Scot Bush; 2 great grandsons, Liam and Graham Bush and a niece, Meeka Pennington.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Junior Jacobs and Fern (Carpenter) Triplett.

There will be no services and Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia in charge of arrangements.
