Dolores Mae Smith

Dolores Mae Smith, 84 of St. Peters, Mo passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Garden
View Nursing Care Facility in O' Fallon. Dolores was born on June 21,1939 in St. Louis, Mo to the late Edward and Mae (Davis) Johnson. Dolores married Lee (Tunie) Roy Smith in 1955. She was a member of Ferguson Baptist Church for over 30 years before she relocated to St. Peters, MO.

Dolores is survived by her son; Lee “Butch” (Debbie) Smith; 4 grandchildren, Darla Graham, Pricilla (Chris) Stewart, Joshua (Megan) Smith, Amanda Smith; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and husband, along with a daughter, Pamela Vinson and a grandson, “Little” Vernon Vinson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia. Burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery with Rev. Dave Cockran and Pastor Terri Swan officiating. Memorial donations can be made to any local animal shelter or Humane Society. Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia in charge of arrangements.
