Beulah Mae Huson

Beulah Mae (Upton) Huson of Joliet, IL passed away May 23, 2023 at the age of 100. Beulah, “Bea” to her friends and “Boo” to her family, was born November 21, 1922,1922 in Galatia to the late “Ottes” and Pearl (Rabourn) Upton. Boo married the late Frank E. Huson of Palmyra on April 26, 1942 in Tampa, FL. Along with her parents and husband Frank, Boo was preceded in death by siblings John and Deloris (Irvin) Upton, Virginia (Upton) and “Keith” Huson, and Jim and June (Brown) Upton. Boo is survived by her four children: Cynthia Huson, David and Ellen (Miller) Huson, Richard Huson, and Lisa Huson and Larry Brown. Boo had 3 grandchildren (Kevin, Kristin, and Alex), and 5 great-grandchildren (Jillian, Jenna, Jonny, Jule, and Sophia).

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 26, 202023,23 at 1 p.m. at the Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia is in charge of the arrangements.
