Betty Jean Branche

1929-2022

Betty Jean Branche, 93, of Creal Springs passed away at 12:20 PM, Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Manor Court of Carbondale.

Betty was born on February 1, 1929, in Marion to the late Earl and Ida (Hays) Stroud. She married Eloy Branche, and he preceded her in death. Betty worked for Norge, which eventually sold to Maytag, for many years. She loved to cook and she absolutely loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Carlyn Tippett and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Michelle Beasley; Bryan Stover and wife, Angela; Jamie Stover; and Brad Stover; great grandchildren, Hailey Moore and husband, Jeff; Emma Stover; Knox Stover; Cameron Stephens and wife, Mariah; Colton Stover; and Olivia Stover; great great grandchildren, Brylynn Moore; Carson Moore; and Blakely Moore

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by all of her siblings.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. There will be no visitation. Those wishing to attend should gather at Rose Hill Cemetery.
