Alice Alemida Reed

Alice Alemida Reed, 92, went to be with the Lord on Christmas eve at her home in Mountain Home, AR. 

Alice was born on January 6, 1932, in Thompsonville, IL to the late Rodney and Ethel (Guy) Bird. 

She is survived by her husband, Paul Reed, daughter Deb Hurst (Kelly), son James R. Beatty, stepson Michael Reed (Kathy), Grandchildren Justin Hurst, Aaron Hurst, Catlin Flynt (Zac), Savannah Adkins (Frank), Zac Beatty, Lillian Reed, Chris Siegel. Great grandchildren Brylee Hurst, Hazel Hurst. Sister Louise Webber, Brother Harold Bird and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 31,2024 at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until funeral hour. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Thompsonville. Sloan Funeral Home of Galatia in charge of arrangements.
